It's difficult for the Australian squad to set fresh records.

The highest peaks have been successfully scaled.

This is the unit that has claimed seven Cricket World Cups, plus an additional six T20 titles, and earlier maintained over three years undefeated in 50-over cricket.

The remaining milestones, targeted by the achievement hunters, are all that remain for a squad that has achieved everything.

That it took up to Sunday's success by three wickets over India for them to complete their first ODI chase exceeding 300, regaining their record for the highest in women's cricket's 50-over format, is, in truth, a tribute to the bowlers that have represented Australia over the past 50 years.

It's challenging for their batters to possess a record if not afforded the chance.

Ultimately, the consequence of Australia allowing 330 runs was leader Alyssa Healy receiving a chance to create her newest gem.

Initially recognized as the young family member of famous ex Aussie wicketkeeper Ian, she first played in 2010 after Australia didn't secure either of the 20 or 50-over World Cups conducted earlier and has experienced everything through 15 championship-filled years since.

She reached fifty in 35 balls - her swiftest at the global tournament - and her century in 84 as she flogged anything short, striking 21 boundaries and three sixes.

When she was out the team needed 66 additional runs at one run per ball - an achievable target now requiring a leisurely stroll.

"To chase 330 is unfamiliar ground so I'm pleased we have the confidence to achieve that now," added Healy.

"Preferably we shouldn't have to repeat it but, should it happen, we believe we can do it."

These statements will be the last rival teams at this tournament should hear.

In recent days a sense they will triumph from any situation has become more firm - this triumph succeeding win against Pakistan by 107 run margin despite being 76-7 at one point.

Next Australia play Bangladesh before a meeting with old rivals England in Indore in a week and a half, by which point a semi-final place may likely be confirmed.
